Top Stories: Apple Leaks – Camera-Equipped AirPods, Beats 360, and More

It has been an unusually chaotic week for Apple secrets, as a wave of leaks has pulled back the curtain on several ambitious projects. Much of the excitement stems from a recent macOS Tahoe 26.7 build, which inadvertently revealed a glimpse of camera equipped AirPods. In a brief demo found within the software, these earbuds utilize visual intelligence to identify objects in the real world, allowing users to simply look at something and ask their device to save it for later. While the footage suggests the technology is nearly ready, industry insiders like Mark Gurman suggest fans might have to wait until next year before they actually hit store shelves.

The macOS leak did not stop with audio gear, however, uncovering references to over twenty unreleased devices across the Mac, iPhone, and iPad lineups. Among the most notable finds is a revamped Apple TV expected to house an A17 Pro chip and enhanced RAM to power new Siri AI capabilities. There are also strong indications that a dedicated home hub device is in the works, featuring a widget gallery and smart stacks similar to those seen on Apple Watch, designed to rotate through relevant information based on the time of day and user habits.

Beyond the internal software slips, retail listings have accidentally spoiled details regarding the upcoming Beats 360 over ear headphones. These new cans are shaping up to be far more durable than previous iterations, marking the first time Beats has brought sweat and water resistance to its over ear line. They are rumored to offer significantly better noise cancellation than the Studio Pro models and will come in various colors including pink and sky blue, complete with interchangeable cushions for personalized comfort.

As these hardware surprises loom, attention is also shifting toward the imminent release of iOS 27 this September. While much of the conversation centers on a redesigned, context aware version of Siri built for the generative AI era, dozens of smaller quality of life improvements are tucked into the update. Between the sophisticated new home integration tools and high performance wearable tech, Apple appears to be positioning itself for a massive leap forward in how its ecosystem interacts with both the user and their physical environment.
